DC LICSW required
To provide quality outpatient or community/home-based therapeutic services to children, families, and adults. Clinician Therapist will be responsible for providing one on one individual and/or family therapy utilizing therapeutic interventions. The therapist will be responsible for ongoing monitoring of the Treatment Plans, ongoing assessment of the client’s needs; and Client’s Treatment Plan adjustments as needed. The therapist will also be responsible for managing, supporting, and facilitating appropriate services to see the needs of each client and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Clinical Assessments (diagnostic) on clients, assessment report on a consistent basis.
Develop initial treatment plans for supportive counseling services with client and client’s support system.
To provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions and interventions, within the community or client’s home.
Provide crisis intervention services to clients as necessary. Implement and manage Safety Plans with client and client’s support system as needed.
Provide court reports and other client-related reports required and required to attend when subpoena to court.
Identify, link, and relay to client and client’s systems of support as necessary to applicable community resources.
Ability to maintain established productivity requirements as dictated by case assignments.
Cooperatively attend and constructively participate in ongoing treatment team, meetings and required training.
Maintain and document all services provided to the client/about the client in order to conduct billable and non-billable services based on payer/Medicaid standards.
Must be submitted within a 24 hour period of services provided.
Maintain awareness of appropriate boundaries and therapeutic relationships with the client and his/her support system.
Qualifications and Skill:
A graduate from an accredited college or university with at least Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a human services related field with licensure, issued by the board regulating the profession in question, in one of the following disciplines: psychology, psychiatry, social work, or counseling. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and maintaining the ability to work and travel throughout the community, with periodically transport clients.Apply Now!
