Part-Time – 15 to 20 hours per week
Our client is looking for a highly organized, creative and technically skilled self-starter to join their team. The primary goal of this position is to accurately and visually contribute to the outreach message through their website. A typical day could include updating web pages; editing photographs and other digital media to enhance page design; managing the website structure, hosting platform and plugins; testing, scheduling and conducting website framework updates; and monitoring and collecting site analytics and trends.
Job duties include:
Day-to-day management of the district’s external and internal websites to include creating and updating pages using WordPress content management system.
Editing and otherwise manipulating images, videos, and other media to enhance webpage designs.
Manages the website structure, interface, and functionality.
Monitors web software, plugins and hosting for updates; schedules, tests and conducts necessary updates.
Provides web statistics and trends to office leadership to assist in outreach planning and analytics.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Design or related field.
Prior work-related experience required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
