The bill rate or mark-up varies based on market average, skill set, and competition in the area. Mark-ups usually range anywhere from 45 to 60 percent of the employee’s hourly rate. The bill rate includes all payroll taxes, workers compensation insurance, ACA compliant healthcare, and background check.
