Q: I’m looking for work, what do I need to do?
A: We require everyone to apply through our website. Applications take a few days to process, and if we have any assignments that match your experience and credentials, we will reach out directly to schedule an interview.
Q: Do you contact everyone who applies? Can I get feedback on my resume?
A: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, it is not possible for us to contact everybody who applies or give individual feedback on resumes.
Q: Does your office accept walk-in appointments?
A: Due to the high volume of applicants, we cannot accept walk-in appointments.
Q: What types of jobs do you staff?
A: We specialize in placing candidates in HR, office support, marketing, warehouse, and finance roles at all levels. We service a variety of industries, including finance, digital media, technology, startups, law, and non-profit companies. We sometimes staff jobs that don’t fit into those categories, therefore we are happy to review all resumes.
Q: Do I have to pay to register with ManeHire?
A: No. There is absolutely no charge to job seekers at any point during the process.
Q: Do I need to have a resume to apply?
A: Yes. We require a resume so that we may properly evaluate your experience and credentials.
Q: What format should my resume be in?
A: We prefer Microsoft Word or a text-based PDF file (as opposed to a scanned document) as attachments. DO NOT SEND Cloud links (Google Docs or Dropbox), screenshots, or Apple Pages/Notes files.
Q: I don’t have a digital copy of my resume, can I send a photo of a printed copy?
A: Unfortunately we cannot accept resumes in this format. Please provide a digital copy in Word or PDF format.
Q: Can I mail a resume to your office?
A: We cannot accept mailed resumes. Please apply through the website or email your resume to jobs@manehire.com.
Q: I used to work through ManeHire, do I need to re-apply?
A: There is no need to reapply, you can contact the recruiter you worked with previously to update your information.
